課程概述

This is a course for students who have taken Marketing Management to explore the dimensions of new product development.  

課程目標
1. Understand the role and importance of NPD in an organization.
2. Learn the fundamental concepts, tools and methodologies in NPD.
3. Acquire knowledge about the interdisciplinary issues involved in the NPD process.
4. Appreciate the importance of market orientation in NPD projects.
 
課程要求
1. Choose and FIX YOUR SEAT in classroom from September 17 on.
2. Form your team of 5~6 members by September 17.
3. Participate actively, both in the class and in the team. Participation is especially necessary for case discussion sessions—if you cannot devote to the preparations and in-class discussions of the cases, you should not take this course.
4. The seven cases and the simulation are at your own cost (@US$ 40.15). To respect copyright, you’ll have to pay for the cases by September 17 if you’d like to take this course. If you were economically disadvantaged, inform the instructor on September 10 and the instructor will pay the expense for you. The payment is to be made on and the materials are to be retrieved from: (TBA)
5. Once you’ve made the aforementioned payment you should fill out a specific form on: (TBA) . Any participant who’s not economically disadvantaged will get at most a “B” grade if the form has not been correctly filled out by 09:10, September 17.
